The PhD students of my group presented their research work at the 15. fib PhD Symposium of the fib (International Federation for Structural Concrete). A great Symposium and a unique platform, where only PhD students can present their research, discuss the results, and get a valuable feedback from supervisors and peers.
Daniella Mehanni presented her PhD research concept on the Valorisation of Waste Slurries: Aqueous Carbonation of Recycled Fines in Industrial Waste Water, Bojan Poletanovic presented his PhD in the end phase on the Durability of short hemp fibre reinforced fly ash-based alkali-activated materials and Bayram Tutkun the first results of his PhD research on the Negative Emission Pathways Through CO2 Uptake of Powders in Concrete: A Preliminary Study on Influencing Parameters.
Always a great pleasure to meet old friends and cooperation partners!
